Keith was born deep in the Surrey Delta (Kingston Upon Thames) around about the same time as Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, Unfortunately his parents dragged him 'oop North before the Surrey blues scene really got going. His Dad bought him his first electric guitar (a Harmony Rocket) at the tender age of 16 and he still occasionally plays it.
Over the years, Blues has been Keith's true musical love and luckily he has been blessed with a rich baritone singing voice which fits the genre perfectly. His guitar playing has been deliberately kept simple and uncomplicated.
Keith has fronted a number of bands over the years and during a twelve year period living in Vancouver, Canada, performed at the Okanagan Blues Festival, the New Westminster Blues Festival and many bars and events in the Vancouver area. He also appeared on the same bill as Bryan Adams (before he was famous) and Randy Bachman (Bachman, Turner Overdrive). During a period working in Rome, Italy he fronted a blues band that gigged quite regularly around the city, he also jammed with Garry Peterson (co-wrote American Woman) and the world famous jazz pianist Herbie Hancock. In the UK, Keith has fronted a number of blues/rock bands and has opened for Dr Feelgood and John Verity.
Although still involved with some bands, Keith has now decided that he should focus on solo appearances and is keen to get involved with some of the Blues festivals that happen around the UK and Europe.
